Rear extension prepared for render

A two-storey rear extension and chimney scaffolded, the brickwork cleaned down and prepared for a full render, from the ground floor up to the roofline.

Before any render goes on, the wall has to be right. This rear extension had old paint, loose mortar and a mix of brick and block that needed cleaning down, raking out and dubbing out before the base coat.

The whole elevation was scaffolded from the yard to the chimney. We prepared the brickwork, set the beads and bell casts around the windows and at the base, and got everything ready for the render to go on in one continuous run.
